Biography of Katrina Kaif

Katrina Kaif is a British-Indian film actress and model. Katrina primarily known for her work in Bollywood films but has also done Telugu and Malyalam films.

Katrina Kaif spent her subsequent years in Hawii, and then in London. Katrina started modelling accidently when she was in Hawaii at the age of 14, when she was approached for a campaign. Continuing to model was the reason she got her break in a bollywood movie ‘Boom’.

Katrina saw moderate success with the 2005 film Sarkar and Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya, where she was paired opposite Salman Khan.

Five releases marked 2007 for Katrina. Namastey London with Akshay Kumar was one of the year’s top hit for which Katrina did her own dubbing for the first time. In 2008, we caught her in two blockbusters Race and Singh is King, both of which did well.

Katrina’s first release in 2009 was Ney York that was also a commercial success.At the years end, she appeared in Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani with Ranbir Kapoor and in De Dana Dan.Both films were good at box office.

Katrina then had prominent roles in films as Raahneeti, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan and Ek Tha Tiger. In 2013, Katrina appeared briefly in the action thriller Dhoom 3, the highest-grossing Bollywood film of all time.

Adorned with soft gorgeous looks, Katrina Kaif is not easily intimidated, but admits that she is very emotional, sensitive and concerned about her privacy. Katrina prefers to wear confortable non-revealing clothes when at home, hates to do her hair and above all dislikes make-up. Admitted to being lonely in the beginning, but now she has several friends whom she can hang out with.

Katrina Kaif has 8 siblings – one elder brother named Michael and 7 sisters viz, Isabel Kaif, Anila Kaif, Ayesha Kaif, Habiba Kaif, Eshal Kaif, Alina Kaif and Maria Kaif. Katrina works in India on an employment visa.

Katrina Kaif was voted the sexiest Asian woman in the world by Eastern Eye in the years 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011. Katrina was choosen as the face of the year for the Lakme Indian Fashion Week in 2005.
