Biography of Tamannaah Bhatia

Tamannaah Bhatia is an Indian film actress and model, who performs under the mononym Tamannaah and predominantly appears in South Indian cinema. In 2005, she made her acting debut in the Bollywood film, Chand Sa Roshan Chehra, before working in the major South Indian film industries.

Tamannaah Bhatia was born on 21 December 1989 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She has completed her schooling from Maneckji Cooper Educational Trust School, Juhu, Mumbai. She is currently pursuing a degree in BA from National College, Mumbai through distance education. Tamanna opted to go for a single name she should be addressed with and stopped using her surname. Reportedly, she believed in numerology and like other actors, she also thought to do the same. She has been working from the age of 13 since she was spotted at her school's annual function day and offered a lead role which she took up. She also appeared in the music video of Lafzon Mein Keh Na Saku by Abhijeet Sawant, former Indian Idol winner which was his first video too. 

Tamannaah was seen in Sajid Khan's entertaining film "Himmatwala" - 2013 opposite Ajay Devgn. Recently, she was seen in comedy movie 'Humshakals' and in 'Entertainment' opposite Akshay Kumar. 

Tamannaah has done a celkon mobile ad with Virat Kohli in 2012.
